Adler
A secret programme called Adler placed gifted children as sleepers with families in Cologne, some deep inside the city's clans. Now they're teenagers who have forgotten where they come from and what they're there for: to keep watch as the AIs arrive.
The story
Adler is a fictional mystery thriller adventure, told across media and on several levels. It doesn't drop as a finished series. It grows piece by piece on social media, spread over several channels, and only makes sense as a whole.
I call it fluid creation. The world of Adler mirrors what is actually happening every day, and with how fast things are moving, a lot is happening. The result is a real, virtual story world that seems to keep writing itself.
I believe that with AI I'll soon be able to tell a continuous stream of gripping stories from this world, one that eventually pays for itself. But first I'm starting small.
The roots are in Cologne. This story hasn't let go of me for years: teenagers smuggled into the city's family clans by a secret programme. Back then Adler was meant to be a series; now it is growing into a whole world. The name is a declaration of love to Germany. The eagle is on the coat of arms, and to me Germany is the land of wizards and scientists.

Projekt Adler: Proof of Concept
2019 · 3:10 · Directed · Shot · Edited
Proof of concept for a series concept of my own, in development: a scene like one you might see in an episode.
Working title “High Stacks”. This is where I first got serious about lenses (fast 1.4s on the A7S) and booked gear for the first time.
